Executive Director
Georgia H. Foley
has been STAFDA's executive director since January 2000. Her duties include overseeing all meeting planning activities, member programs, association relations, financials & communications. She joined STAFDA in 1994 as member services director & was promoted to assistant executive director in June 1998. Prior to joining STAFDA, she was the executive director of the Exhibit Designers & Producers Association (EDPA) for 7 years. In addition to her STAFDA responsibilities, she is Treasurer and on the Board of Directors of the Small Business Legislative Council (SBLC), Washington, D.C. She is also on the Customer Advisory Board of the San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau. Georgia holds a B.A. from Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI.
Member Services Director
Catherine P. Usher
joined STAFDA in April 1999 as member services director. Her responsibilities include developing member services, communications, Convention registration, and meeting planning. Prior to STAFDA, she was director of seminars for Shoreland, Inc., a travel-medicine organization, and editor of their monthly newsletter. Cathy also worked for Kiwanis International as an editor and contributing writer of their international magazine. She is a magna cum laude journalism graduate of Ball State University, Muncie, IN.
Senior Accountant
Anne Venturelli
joined STAFDA in April 2010 to oversee the Association’s accounts payable and receivable functions as well as financial reporting. She has been an accounting software consultant since 1987 and STAFDA’s office accounting consultant since 2004. She specializes in not-for-profit accounting and job cost accounting for contractors. Previously, she worked as a Business Partner with Cougar Mountain Software and Director of Software Support for a software company specializing in oil and gas accounting. She also taught science and math in the
Madison
school system for five years. Anne has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
